Our other PTO systems lets you to choose between driving and powering auxiliary equipment but in Road sweepers we need simultaneous operation of driving and powering sweeper drives.

What we are solving:

Traditionally, split shaft PTO setups force you into a choice. You could either:

1. Use a reduction gearbox in the driveline and deck engine or power pack for Sweeper drive: This allows for slow, controlled movement while operating equipment, but requires a separate deck engine to power the sweeper drives. This has a cost impact.

2. Run the vehicle with the clutch: This lets you drive the vehicle frustratingly by using clutch to slow down the vehicle and to operate equipment with side PTO, leading to inefficiency and lower engine and clutch life.
